Full programme - the Wee Green Screen

National Park City Group

Updated: Nov 26, 2020

We’re delighted to announce the full programme for Wee Green Screen – our online environmental film event. With tier 4 lockdown limiting our entertainment options we hope our programme will inspire you join us for some green nights in featuring fantastic films and lively discussion.

Wee Green Screen – which runs from 26th November to 11th December – is a series of online screenings of films from around the world with themes linked to the aims of the National Park City. Each film will be followed by a short follow up discussion, including contributions from some of the filmmakers and environmental activists.

All of the screenings are free, and you can register for all our events on Eventbrite – just search for Wee Green Screen or see links to each film below. Joining and screening instructions will be sent out before each event.

Following the recent launch of our proposal for Glasgow to become a National Park City, we’re looking for projects that support our vision. We hope the films and follow up discussions will help identify ideas for action. Find out more about our framework for action here

Programme, registration and film information:

Sun 29th Nov; Natura Urbana

Weds 2nd Dec - Disobedience

Tues 8th Dec; The Story of Plastic

Fri 11th Dec; Kiss the Ground

So... whether its sweet or salty, or sweet and salty, please pop some corn and join us to look at how we can work together to take some crucial steps towards putting nature and our future at the heart of everything we do.
