July sees the launch of the National Park City Foundation's journey book - the process by which cities can apply for National Park City status.
They have an ambitious target for 25 National Park Cities around the world by 2025 - we think Glasgow should be one of the first.
Join us for this great online event event at which we'll sharing micro-talks, videos and discussion about what a National Park City is. We'll be sharing information about projects happening across the city which demonstrate the fantastic things happening here, and the potential to work together to deliver a Greener, Healthier, Wilder Glasgow.
You can find out more about children planting their very own woodland in the city, about the work happening to deliver green, community led uses of our vacant and derelict land and a truly ambitious plan to plant 10 trees for every person across the Glasgow City Region.
We hope existing supporters of the National Park City will join us, alongside anyone in Glasgow interested to find out more or get involved. We also welcome interested people from around the world to take this virtual visit to Glasgow and find out why we think we should be one of the first National Park Cities.
