The consultation on Glasgow City Council's Consultative Draft Open Space Strategy (OSS) ends on 10th December. You can submit comments via an online form or in writing to the council so please get involved in helping to shape the future of our city.

The Draft OSS sets out the ways in which the people, flora and fauna of Glasgow are likely to make use of open space, now and in the future, and sets out how these different demands on open space should be considered and met.

The overall strategy is summarised under three key outcomes which very much align to those of the National Park City - A Liveable Glasgow, A Healthy Glasgow and A Resilient Glasgow. So if you are interested in the idea of a National Park City - the Open Space Strategy is a key thing to get involved in.

There's loads of good information and mapping in there as well - check out the interactive Open Space Map above!
