Come along to our next Supporters Get Together: Weds 7th Sept @ 7 - 8.30pm at The White House, 11 Maryhill Rd, G20 0DZ.

ree

Our next Get together will be hosted at The White House - Free Wheel North’s second centre in Glasgow, and Maryhill’s oldest building. Formerly a lock-keeper’s home, a pub, a post-office and a dookit, Free Wheel North re-opened the building as a community hub, café and bike shop in July. The centre hosts talks and workshops enabling local people to get involved in the regeneration of Maryhill, and future plans are to create a centre for social justice and public space, campaigning for an active Glasgow where anybody can walk, wheel or cycle.

The Get Together will be an informal chance to meet up with others interested in a Greener, Healthier, Wilder City and have a bit of a look at the NPC Journey Book - https://www.nationalparkcity.org/journey - a 10 step guide to becoming a National Park City. We are starting to gather examples, stories and evidence from supporters and colleagues to feed into our journey book - so it'd be great to catch up with everyone and hear your news and ideas.

It would be great to see you there - and please share the invitation with any friends and colleagues interested in finding out more about GNPC.

A few days earlier there's another chance to meet like minded folk at an event run by one of our latest supporters at the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust's big family fun day at Glasgow Botanic Gardens on the 3rd September, with artists, face painter, storytelling and minibeasting. There is also a workshop on amphibians and reptiles, how to recognise and find them, which can be booked for the super keen future herpetologist.

Find out more and book the training workshop here: www.arc-trust.org/SSAAR-OpenDay

Love the lineup for September — those gatherings & nature events bring people together so well. Also, it’s cool how even what we wear can reflect our values: something like the Wednesday S02 Jenna Ortega Poe The Pit and the Pendulum Skull T-Shirt could be a fun expression of creativity and individuality.

Loving the lineup for September especially the family-friendly fun day at Glasgow Botanic Gardens and the community spirit at the Maryhill meetup! It’s inspiring to see nature, art, and activism come together. Kind of like rocking a Golf Wang Save The Bees Hoodie it’s stylish, makes a statement, and shows you care about the environment.

Wearing outerwear is a good idea if you want to enhance your style even further. You may expect to receive the amazing trend influenced by sports and celebrities from Rose Byrne Platonic S02 Cardigan.

I really liked how this article was structured—it blends useful insights with an easy-to-follow style, which makes it enjoyable for readers. When I think of creative costume inspiration, Vanson Jackets often comes to mind because their collections are full of standout pieces. A recent highlight for me is their Beetlejuice Halloween Costume Black and White Suit. The suit’s bold black-and-white stripes and attention to detail make it an unforgettable outfit for anyone wanting to channel Beetlejuice at a Halloween party or cosplay convention.
