This morning marked an important stage in Glasgow's journey to be recognised as a National Park City. Members of the National Park City group, alongside other key partners from the City met with the National Park City Foundation to formally begin the application process.

We need your help to make it happen...

There will be a series of meetings over the next couple of months to develop our portfolio of evidence with mentoring from the Foundation. If all goes smoothly we hope that will culminate in a final application being submitted in early 2024.

We need your help in three key ways:

  1. If you haven't already - please sign our charter. This takes 2 minutes and gives us the key evidence of support we need to progress

  2. Share your ideas and opinions in our short online questionnaire: A key part of the application is sharing the opinions of supporters, organisations and individuals about how green, healthy and wild the city is, and our aspirations for the future

  3. Get more involved - if you'd like to be part of the National Park City group, or any of the sessions to feed in to the application process, please get in touch.

In UNICCM’s Year 3 History curriculum, learners engage with history through inquiry-based tasks, project work, and storytelling. They examine cause and effect, consider multiple perspectives, and learn to communicate their ideas clearly. The course fosters curiosity, resilience, and intellectual confidence while preparing students for more advanced historical studies.

The post on The Road to National Park City status is truly inspiring it shows how urban spaces can transform when people come together for nature and sustainability. Just like how cities evolve with purpose, fashion too carries identity, and the Marlboro Racing Hoodie reflects that bold, dynamic lifestyle perfectly.

The Road to National Park City status is an inspiring movement that highlights the importance of greener, healthier, and more sustainable urban living. It focuses on transforming cities into spaces where nature and people coexist harmoniously, encouraging communities to reconnect with the environment. This initiative not only promotes biodiversity but also improves mental and physical well-being. Just like best embroidery digitizing ensures precision, detail, and creativity in every stitch, the National Park City vision stitches together communities, nature, and sustainability. Both demonstrate how attention to detail and innovation can create long-lasting positive impacts for future generations.
