This year we will apply for Glasgow to become a National Park City. This will provide well deserved recognition for the many community groups and organisations who work away tirelessly for a Greener, Healthier, Wilder Glasgow for everyone.
It will also make us part of a growing international community of people doing the same in their communities and so help provide support, connections and a strong collective voice for Glasgow.
We need your help in two ways:
Sign the charter - this is very easy, can be done in 2 minutes and will help us demonstrate support and secure National Park City Status. You can all do that - right NOW!
If you have more time and would like to get involved - you could join: - Our application group - if you could do some research, writing and information collection (with however many hours you can spare) you could help us pull together our application and play in key role in Glasgow becoming a National Park City - Our event team - We want to pull together an event in the Spring / summer 2023 which will celebrate the people and groups which help make Glasgow a National Park City. If you have interest and experience in running or promoting events, fundraising or would just like to help out - we'd love to hear from you.
